I joined my first yoga class in 2006 as a competitive rower looking for injury prevention as I aged. I realized yoga offered much more than just physical poses, and I became smitten with the benefits. I decided to turn my passion into my career and founded Yoga Rising.
No matter your age or experience, my classes are designed to help you expand your flexibility and mobility in a way that’s both challenging and relaxing. My classes are an effective way to reduce injuries, increase balance, and extend longevity in your sport and beyond. I also bring my knowledge of Social Work & Experiential Education to give students well-rounded classes, a sense of community, and as much support as possible.
